ABOUT LINDA DAUBE
Ms. Daube is licensed to practice law in California and has been providing legal services to public agencies for over 25 years, serving both as an in-house counsel and outside contract attorney. She was the contract City Attorney for the City of Pittsburg, California, for 6 years, spent 9 years as the Deputy City Attorney for the City of Long Beach responsible for all labor and employment matters involving the City’s 6,000 employees and 19 departments, and for 5 years served as the Chair of the Labor and Employment Practice group for a large California law firm that provided legal services to public entities. Linda's law firm is a California certified SBE (#1567740).
Linda served as labor counsel to the City of San Bernardino on matters related to the City's Chapter 9 Bankruptcy proceedings including serving as chief spokesperson in the negotiations of new bargaining agreements with the City's seven (7) labor unions.

EDUCATION.
Graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Science degree in Economics; Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University - College of Law.

Author of various publications including "Improving Management, Personality and Communication Techniques (IMPACT)"; "The Law, Your Job and Other Things"; and a manual entitled, "Skelly – Discipline and Due Process." Has been a contributing author to the California League of Cities’ Municipal Handbook.
TEACHING AND PUBLIC SPEAKING
Faculty member for the Continuing Education Seminar for Municipal Attorneys, "The City Attorney as the First Line of Defense Against Employment-Related Litigation"; frequent speaker for professional organizations. Has served on the faculties at San Diego State University and Western Illinois University and as an adjunct instructor for the Masters of Public Administration program at California State University at Fullerton.
